Cengkareng Barat to Run Third Quarter of Area Arrangement

Cengkareng Barat Urban Village runs its third quarter of area arrangement (July-September). It targets areas of Jalan KFT Utama, RT 01 and 05, RW 11, Cengkareng Barat Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district, West Jakarta.

Cengkareng Barat Urban Village's Economy and Development Section Head, Sri Hardiyaningsih, said the land area to be managed is 50 square meters. The areas were not well organized due to frequent flooding during heavy rain.

"We've started the arrangement since a week ago by involving 10 PPSU personnel," Sri said, Monday (7/22).

In this early stage, she explained, land dredging up to 40 cm of depth is being carried out. Next, Water Resource Sub-agency, Bina Marga Sub-agency, and City Park and Forestry Sub-agency of West Jakarta will provide water channel by using u-ditch concrete, install road border, plant decorated plants, create mural, and so on.

"Hopefully the area will be more beautiful, cleaner, and greener," she hoped.
